The Gardens 'One of the finest views in England'

In front of the house formal terraces with elegant steps lead you down to the wild flower meadow and the natural pond. A stream trickles through a bog garden with one of the largest gunnera to be seen and other wetland plants amongst a willow plantation and all with the backdrop of the magnificient view.

View to the Black Mountains

A perfumed rose walk in the once derelict old walled garden leads to parterres with box hedging, herbs, magnificent weeping roses and rills of water with a final flourish of a 'pool of silence' with a fireman's jet' fountain.
